With summer just around the corner and festival season in full swing, we’re taking a look at the best source for the latest fashion trends: young, music-loving teens and twenty-somethings who travel all over the country to show off their incredible bold style.
From Coachella to SXSW to Sasquatch! to the Electric Daisy Carnival, these festivals are popping up all over the country, and we’re beginning to see some unique 2014 trends emerge. This year, we’re seeing a lot of bold prints and graphics, pops of neon color, and a great mix of easy-going western meets city chic style. You’re bound to see some of these bold trends pop up in more subtle ways in everyday fashion trends.
Festival fashion would not be complete without quirky, outrageous prints. We’re loving the use of tropical prints combined with vintage graphics.
We’re also seeing a lot of unique embellishments paired with a classic festival item: lace. One of our favorite new trends are flash tats, or temporary shimmering tattoos in geometric and animal designs.
You definitely can’t go wrong with pops of neon color and bright aztec prints. This year, we’re seeing lots of full fabric prints and unique neon tie-dye shirts.
