Licensing Style Guide | Creative Asset Collection | Product Vision | Strategy and Insight
StyleWorks Creative developed the first Cheetos licensing style guide, providing licensees with product inspiration and a new packaging system, as well as rules and direction on working with the Cheetos logo and other major brand and sub-brand identifiers.
Given the Cheetos sense of humor, apparel, accessories, and electronics were natural categories for brand extension.
We imagined an array of products, including flip-flops, pool floats, and other summer essentials.
Our composed designs incorporated a variety of prints, patterns, cheetah spots, and other custom graphic treatments.
They often featured editorial sayings inspired by Cheetos’ social media presence and of course their mischievous mascot, Chester Cheetah.
An extension of the popular Flamin’ Hot collection at Forever 21, our guide featured a Flamin’ Hot section with custom, illustrated flames and patterns using the new color palette, as well as product inspiration specific to the offshoot.
Our packaging system focused on header cards and hangtags featuring a cropped Cheetos logo over a Cheetle-dusted background.
