Kravet Fabrics challenged us with developing an impactful sales and marketing image to position renowned interior designer Larry Laslo’s licensed fabric and trim collection. The total image solution was inspired by 1930’s Hollywood glamour.
The trim and fabric were featured as part of the models’ wardrobes and as still life images. We did lots of research on the lighting, set, styling and collection groups naming reflected that golden era of the movies. Just planning and sketching the shots with Larry with props, custom manufacturing was a great experience. The photo shoot was actually done on location at Larry Laslo’s beautiful Upper East Side townhouse It made it much easier to style the photos. The identity was applied to product casebooks and promotional materials. Each color story featured a large matching monotone lifestyle image with full color still life detail to romance the product. The client, trim designer, Lisa Wilkie, Larry, photographer, models, make-up and hair stylists and us really worked like a team to make it all feel authentic. It was a classic.
